House-Sitting in Spain

We’ve been calling ourselves, “Global House-Sitters”

We’re back! Its been a while since we’ve made a post on the blog, but we haven’t forgotten about it! Over the last couple of months we’ve been all over the place with house-sitting for people in the Valley and time got away from us a little bit. So lets fill you in on what we’ve been up to…

When we first came to Spain I don’t think we ever thought that we would be sought after for house/animal sitting, or that we could actually be really helpful for people in the community. We feel super lucky that the people we’ve become friends with entrust us with the care of their homes and animals for anywhere between 2 days to 2 weeks.

Its has been such an awesome experience being able to move from house to house, connecting with new animals and lets be honest, falling in love with them all. We have stayed in absolutely gorgeous places. The kind of places that we’ll never take for granted. We have woken up to the warm sun cresting over the Sierra de Bernia in the distance, and the shimmer of the Mediterranean Sea through a window at the foot of our bed. These places and these homes are little slices of paradise within one single Valley.

Ever since we started house-sitting we’ve been thinking about the bigger picture and how we can make this into something that reaches a bigger audience. Reaching more people who might need help. We’ve been calling ourselves “global house-sitters”and have been putting ourselves out there to do this anywhere in the world. Which really, with the help of our van, we can do!

Until we reach all corners of the world we will keep doing what we love here in Spain; helping as many people who are looking for house/animal sitters.

If you or anyone you know is looking for a service like ours, let us know! Fill out the bottom portion and we hope to connect soon!
